Starting My Journey: Introducing Studio Glyn Arts

I’ve lived in the New Forest for most of my life, surrounded by the landscapes, textures and natural beauty that have shaped the way I see the world. A little while ago, I bought my first laser machine out of pure curiosity, just something to experiment with at home. I didn’t expect it to change everything.

What began as a hobby quickly became a passion. I fell in love with working with wood, exploring its grain, its warmth and the way it transforms under precise laser engraving. I started creating personalised pieces for friends and family, small gifts, keepsakes, and one‑off designs that meant something to the people receiving them. Seeing how much joy those items brought made me realise I wanted to share this craft more widely.

That’s how Studio Glyn Arts was born. My goal is simple: to offer beautifully crafted, personalised items that carry meaning. Whether it’s engraving a precious memento, creating a unique gift, or helping a business elevate its brand through bespoke corporate pieces, I want to bring thoughtful design and craftsmanship to every project.
